Situated just four miles to the east of Dundee city centre lies the seaside suburb of Broughty Ferry. Known as "the jewel in Dundee's crown", its fine seafront esplanade and sweeping sands provide the perfect place for a relaxing stroll or a quiet picnic.
This site aims to introduce you to everything Broughty Ferry has to offer from its beautiful award winning beach, to the modish boutiques in the high street, its own library and much else besides.

Things To Do

Broughty Ferry Castle.
Guarding the mouth of the Tay estuary, the 15th century Broughty Castle overlooks the harbour. Built in 1498, the castle was restored during the 19th century and now houses a museum featuring displays on Dundee's maritime history.
