The
standing of any hotel can be measured by
its reputaion with the local population
and the number of return visitors. At the
Fort we are proud of our widespread popularity
and sound reputation and our visitors book
shows guests returning time and again from
all corneres of the world.
Whether in the hotel, bar, lounge or restaurant
you will find no shortage of atmosphere,
with entertainment to suit all:- In the
lounge bar we have regular events such as
charity quiz nights on Mondays and Tuesdays,
Karaoke on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays
9pm-12.30am and on Fridays from 8.30pm-11pm
followed by select music until 1am. Our
bar and lounge are open until 1amm seven
nights a week, for that little bit of extra
chill out we all need!

Fishermans Tavern Hotel

since 1827 this seaside icon has now been
sympathetically restored. In addition to
the prestigious awards won for the quality
of its Nicol Russell designed modern en-suite
guest rooms, real ale and wine, the "Fish"
recently gained a VisitScotland gold medallion
for excellence in bar food - Recommended
by teh consumers association "Which?"
and AA acclaimed for seafood. Lunch served
daily until 2.30 weekdays and 3pm weekends
withing non-smoking, smoking and walled
garden areas, Summer pavement café
